Xin Huang

"Badminton has always been part of my life, whether in China or the United States. Coach Kate and the EBA family have made the transition from China to the United States much easier. This ten-year journey has been a hard and bumpy one, but their support and encouragement help me continue to chase my aspirations as a badminton athlete. I have the drive to continue my journey and my love for the sport. I will keep pushing myself to higher heights. "

Jasmine La

"Badminton is a huge aspect of my life. I started to learn badminton at the age of seven at EBA. My motivation is to become stronger (in general) and more active. With a lot of sweat and tears, I was able to obtain my Pan American Doubles Champion title. My biggest contributor would be my Coach Jing Yu (Kate) Hong. She has taught me everything that I know and has continued to push and motivate me. The EBA team has also been extremely supportive in my endeavors. My goal is to obtain more titles in the future and play in the international stadium"

Linda Youchang Li

"At first learning how to play badminton was just a way to get me to exercise. As I improved, I wanted more and the best way to become better was to train with the team. Some of our younger teammates have trained longer and are better than me but that does not deter my drive. I will train harder to not only to catch up, but also to be able compete and win. Coach Kate and the Team have been extremely supportive and helpful. I will continue to improve."

Carter Tong

"I grew up playing badminton with my parents who played competitively around the US. They inspired to become the best player I could be from a young age. I have been training with the EBA Elite team for 2 years now. The conditioning is challenging, the drills really help develop proper technique and reactions, and the team is very encouraging and friendly. The club has good courts with no overhead lights and green and blue walls so the shuttle is always easy to see. It is a great facility and a great team! My goal is to be ranked in the top ten singles players in the US. "

Lydia Ng

"I played badminton recreationally with my mom and my brother. I enjoyed the sport. I decided to train with Coach Kate. With time and dedication, I was promoted from the beginner’s group to the Elite Team. I have been hungry to win a title. Being on the team has driven my hunger and brought me closer to that goal. Coach Kate and my teammates constantly push me to be better. I will continue to train and feed this hunger of mine."
