Our Club
Eastbay Badminton Association took over Golden Gate Badminton Club Emeryville on March 1, 2010. With a firm facility and members, EBA improved on all aspects of the club, implementing needed improvements in the pro-shop, coaching staff, facility, etc. In addition, our improvements will never stop, as we will always try to find ways to constantly be better. Our service area includes Emeryville, Oakland, Berkeley, and all other cities in the east bay area. In addition, we pride ourselves in being the friendliest club with the most outgoing members. If you are not able to make a new friend on your first visit, we will refund your drop-in fee guaranteed!
Our Mission
Eastbay Badminton Association is a full service facility dedicated entirely to the sport of badminton that is open to the general public. Our location is equipped with 8 Olympic standard courts. Our Pro-shop is fully equipped with the latest products and equipments, such as Yonex, Apacs, Wilson, Li-Ning, Black Knight etc. We offers different membership packages to meet different players’ needs. We also offer training from beginners to advanced players from world-class coaches! Our commitment is to our members. Our team understands that they are very important, so we do everything in our power to make them happy. Their satisfaction is our main goal. Suggestions and comments are always welcome.

Training
All of our coaches have many years of experience. From beginners to advance players, we have just the right trainers for you. Most of our trainers are required to have a certain skill level in order to coach. Most have won tournaments from the local level all the way to the international level. We are constantly adding new coaches, so there will never be a shortage.
Online Court Reservation
For the busy person who has little time to wait in line or just want to be in and out before their next appointment, we are offering court reservations for you. Now you don’t have to go early and hope courts are available. They are now available when you want it to be for only a small fee!
Pro-Shop
As an authorized dealer for Yonex, Apacs, Wilson, Li-Ning and other namebrand products, we offer the best selection in quality and prices. If we do not carry your desired model and size, we can order for you right away. We carry rackets, shoes, shuttlecocks, strings, grips, apparel, etc. We also have a fully stocked drink and snack area for all your thirst and hunger needs.
Robbin Advanced Flooring System
Our 8 badminton courts boasts a 11mm padding with High-tec polymer coating for maximum sports performance during training and competitions. Robbins Flooring Systems offer maximum shock absorption without any compromise for floor integrity. Our flooring system will greatly reduce the risk of knee injuries while providing the state of the art in cushioning and traction.
